Hands-On Building & Curated Design

Building with Travis Horton Homes means partnering with a team that covers every angle of your investment. As a husband-and-wife team, we bridge the gap between rugged construction and refined living.

Travis stays onsite, managing the daily complexities of the build and holding our craftsmen to the highest technical standards. Meanwhile, Angela guides you through the creative journey; simplifying the selections process and ensuring your interior finishes, from cabinetry to lighting, align perfectly with your vision. Together, we deliver a home that is structurally sound and beautifully designed.

The Custom Home Process

    1. Financing: We help connect you with preferred lenders to secure your pre-approval and construction loan.

    2. Lot Selection: Whether you have a lot or need help finding one, we ensure it suits your intended home. We serve the greater OKC Metro area including Yukon, Mustang, and Edmond.

    3. Plans & Specs: We assist with custom plans that meet engineering standards and subdivision covenants, then provide an estimated price based on your specifications.

    1. Site Prep & Start: We grade the lot, plan utility connections, and pour the foundation (footing, stem, and slab).

    2. Rough Framing: This is where the shell of the house is created, including walls, floors, roof, windows, and doors.

    3. Systems: We install electrical wiring, gas lines, and plumbing pipes. Large bathtubs are also installed at this stage.

    1. HVAC & Insulation: Ductwork is installed, followed by energy-efficient insulation to ensure a comfortable indoor climate.

    2. Interior & Exterior Skin: We hang and texture drywall, install floor tile, and complete exterior finishes like brick, stucco, or stone.

    1. Trim & Finals: Doors, cabinets, and countertops are installed, followed by light fixtures, faucets, and carpet.

    2. The Finish Line: After completing driveways and patios, we conduct a pre-settlement walkthrough to explain your systems and warranty. Your home is now ready for move-in!.
